Pinot Blanc 2023
State of the wine
Pinot Blanc 2023 stands at the center of the work of Raspini Winery. It shows the vintage clearly, without changing the approach. A wine with tension, guided by precision and energy.
Origin
The grapes come from a single parcel on the Ihringen Fohrenberg. Volcanic soil with a fine limestone component. This combination shapes the structure of the wine more than individual decisions in the cellar.
Work in the vineyard and cellar
Harvest focuses on acidity and freshness. After harvest, the grapes are gently crushed in open wooden vats. Three days of skin contact with skins and stems, followed by gentle pressing. Spontaneous fermentation without additions. Ageing for ten months in used barriques with minimal lees contact.
Style
A concentrated Pinot Blanc with clear structure. Freshness and tension at the forefront, carried by a fine saline and chalky note. Direct in expression. With length. And an independent character.
